I am good friends with this guy, Ben, but we kind of have like a rocky friendship. And my best friend doesn’t like him for this reason and she would always use to ask me why I talk to him etc. So eventually I just stopped telling her that I still talk and hang out with him. But tonight I was texting both of them and I accidentally sent a text to my best friend saying ‘Ben I miss you’. She responded saying ‘excuse me I am not Ben’. What do I say to her?! This is so awkward I just want to lie

Just tell her the truth. If she’s really your best friend, she’ll stick by you, regardless of what other friendships you have.
You’re obviously friends with this guy for a reason, and she’s going to have to respect that.
