You are quite talented and you have a wonderful story line. I know personally I am just farfluzeled with a bouquet of well scented questionable enigmas all chaotically assorted in my mind regarding what will happen and what has happened (I hope my nonsense writing was legable… I am working on that right now). I am most assuredly certain that people other than myself would also be excited as to a behind-the-scenes look into your creating the work. I do not mean to promote another comic on your site, but I remember that this artist had the same question, however, he decided to air his computer screen while he drew. I wanted to point out the number of views. http://www.twitch.tv/rabbitmonger
Ok I will try to stop rhyming now. It just escaped from me… anyways, if I wasn’t clear before, I will say this now: Yes, I think that people, including myself, would love to see the magic in the making.

I was actually thinking of starting a live-stream of these, but I don’t know how many people would enjoy watching me work…

Oh wow, that adds an element to the comic, knowing that he is based on a real person. I am also reminded of a comment you said about the possibility of Violet and Tyler dating… Returning to the subject at hand, I would love to see how you create your comic, like each process you go through. I have a strange method as well, however I am learning not to care so much about the fine details as it has stopped me from starting a comic so many times before.

Well actually, I’ve done it so many times, I barely have to think about it. I only get OCD about it when a line isn’t going the way I want it to. But at that point, I’m not really stressing about it. I’ll only stress about it if the whole lineart looks terrible. But that rarely happens for a comic since I pencil it in beforehand. And even then, I just start again if it doesn’t go the way I want it to. The way I draw is kind of weird like that. ^^;;
And to be honest, Tyler’s based on a real person. 😛

Other than childlishly teasing that you have a crush on Tyler, I wanted to further ask you how to save yourself the trouble of going over each process 100 times like an ocd person?

I actually have a system. First I pencil, then I scan it onto the computer, then I ink, then I colour, then I shade, fix anything I don’t like, then once I feel comfortable with the art, I move onto the word bubbles. Then I sign the work, slap the letsaskviolet.com sticker underneath, and then it’s got my seal of approval. The reason why Tyler’s hair got weird though was because I would pencil it in wrong and I wouldn’t check beforehand, mostly because I wouldn’t be home while I was sketching, or I was in a rush to get it onto the computer. Personally, I think I like him with bigger hair. Makes him look cuter.

speaking of art getting weird…. how long do you stare at your art before you call it done? I ask cause when I draw and see something messed up, like you said Tyler’s hair was, I would erase and redraw his hair over and over… then give up and be commented on an awesome pic later, when someone finds it in my sketch book……
